VCM Essentials

The Configurable Platform for Formulating and Prototyping

VCM Essentials is a versatile, configurable platform for producing thermoplastic specimens and prototypes. With a broad range of add-ons and accessories, the system can be tailored to your materials, applications, and evolving development needs.

Components of the VCM Platform

VCM Tools: Essential for all VCM Insert Geometries

The VCM Tool family serves as a modular solution to face the wide-ranging requirements of specimen dimensions needed for different types of research. The VCM Disc Tool comes in specimen diameters between 25 and 0,3 mm. The VCM Bar Tool is equipped with either a tensile or one of two rectangle geometries.

VCM Inserts: For Common Analysis Methods

Different analysis methods require different specimen geometries and dimensions. The shape of the VCM Insert defines the cross-section of the sample. No worries if you can’t find your desired dimension below, we also provide custom solutions.

VCM Accessories Simplifying the Process

The VCM Platform is designed to make your daily lab routines as smooth as possible. The accessories include separation foils which are reusable multiple times, and a modern temperature logger for accurate temperature acquisitions.

Separation Foils Save Weeks of Cleaning

One pack consists of 100 sets of separation foils. Thanks to the precise cut of the foils, the best possible results are guaranteed.

Temperature Logger for the Highest Accuracy

Temperature is the most crucial parameter of the VCM process. Data can be gathered and evaluated quickly using a smartphone or PC via Bluetooth.

VCM Lids: More Flexibility for Various Applications

In labs, tasks are diverse. Additional lids for the VCM Tools allow you to accomplish even more tasks and use VCM for more applications. The special designs can reduce compaction pressure, enabling preparation using materials with lower viscosities.
